Although we may seem pretty anarchistic, we do in fact have a set of coven rules squirreled away somewhere, which we thrashed out at a meeting several years ago, and which The Animal Formerly Known As Teen Wolf was originally going to write up in a user-friendly and hopefully entertaining format for posting here. But considering that he went on sabbatical a few years ago and never really came back, that's probably not going to happen. Instead, we're going to revisit the rules at a meeting in the near future, with the current membership, and hopefully come up with something postable then.

But in the meantime, a quick-and-dirty version of the coven rules could probably be said to be approximately as follows:

1. We usually do things by consensus, but in the event that that doesn't work out, or a decision needs to be made in a hurry, Mom Wolf is nominally in charge.
    
2. Whoever is leading ritual on any given night can do pretty much whatever they want to, within the bounds of legality, sanity, and hopefully some degree of good taste and common sense (both of which I suppose are highly relative when you get right down to it).
    
3. Wolf Moon is divided into an inner court and outer court, which is basically a fancy way of saying that some people show up on a regular basis, contribute to making things happen, and get to wear a spiffy wolf pendant, and other people just kind of drop in when they feel like it. New members are in the latter category to start with, but can eventually migrate to the former, should they show a general inclination to, well, show up on a regular basis and contribute to making things happen. Subject to the consensus thing referred to in #1.
    
4. Don't be an asshat.

I think that pretty much covers it. And yes, we did lift the title for this section from the live-action version of Werewolf: the Apocalypse. We are unrepentant geeks.
