Wherein Wolf Moon members mark a few of our favourite territories on the net…
(how do they do that without shorting out their modems?)

Animal Sites

Wolves Ontario
A campaign by Earthroots to protect wolves in our home province. [MW]

Environmental Sites

Deep Ecology Index
Some interesting philosophical stuff on our favourite ecological perspective. Depending on who you ask, deep ecologists are either head-in-the-clouds new age mystics; wild, hairy, uncivilized, wilderness-dwelling freaks; or nasty misanthropic eco-fascists bent on wiping out humanity. Just like us, in other words. [MW]
Earthroots
Our local contingent of rowdy, road-blocking, chain-yourself-to-stuff-by-the-neck hardcore activists. If you believe the Northern Ontario media, they're dedicated to the downfall of Civilization As We Know It. Fun to party with, too. [MW]
Forest Action Network
One of the cooler forest-activist sites on the web, especially the "Patrick Moore is a Big Fat Liar" page! FAN have been around for some time -- we actually made a protective talisman for them in a ritual several years ago, after reading in the Earth First! journal that FAN members in BC were being attacked by loggers, and one gave it of our members who was going to BC that summer to them. They may have thought we were nuts, but if so, at least they were polite about it. [MW]

Pagan/Magical Sites

Fifth Aeon Egregore
A most excellent web site by Phil Hine, a prominent writer on chaos magic. One of those sites you can spend hours getting lost in. We especially recommend "Magic in the Great Outdoors" ("Pathworkings and Guided Visualisations are a very popular form of magic. But have you ever noticed how, when you're being led along a path through a sacred wood, that you never step in any cow-pats?") and "Ekomagic" ("...if it's my politics then it's spiritual, but if it's something I don't agree with, then it's black magic. This argument is often put forth by the people who will quite willingly beam love through a crystal, but won't give a beggar a quid 'cos it's his karma."). [MW]
Wicca for the Rest of Us
A site devoted to skewering the flakiness that passes for Wicca throughout much online and print media these days. Debunks fallacies roasts sacred cows, inspires thought, and is also highly entertaining. [MW]
Wild Ideas
Mom Wolf's own site, which she obviously can't review objectively... [MW]

Were Sites

alt.horror.werewolves FAQ
FAQ of the newsgroup in which the concept of spiritual therianthropy first evolved, continaing the first and probably still the most in-depth attempt to define it. The newgroup itself, like most of Usenet these days, tends to attract enough spam, flame wars, etc. that you have to be pretty determined to read it, but the FAQ is very useful. [MW]
Buster Wilde, Weerwolf
Comic strip about a gay werewolf — you will laugh 'til you howl! "He's here. He's weer. He's shedding on the dance floor."[MW]

Just Generally Interesting

A Cthulhu Hymnal
"Pardon me boys, is this the lair of great Cthulhu?" (to the tune of "Chattanooga Choo-Choo"). The full lyrics to that one, and much, much more! [MW]
The Perkygoff Manifesto
Not that this, um, sounds like any of us or anything. Nor the Perkygoff FAQ either. And none of us have ever taken the Perkygoff Test, and we wouldn't tell you our scores if we had. So there. Nyah. [MW]
